    Once upon a time there was a young boy 

named Brandon.   He lived with his little sister 

Emma and his mom and dad.   Brandon is eight 

years old and in the third grade.   His sister 

Emma was six years old and in the first grade.

     Brandon and his family are planning on 

going on a Disney cruise during summer 

vacation.   Brandon and his sister are excited to 

go on the cruise.   Their parents showed them 

all the activities and the different characters 

that will be on the cruise.

      School was finally out for the summer.  

Brandon and his family can start getting ready 

for the cruise.   They planned some of the 

activities that they will be doing.   Emma was 

planning on what characters that she wanted 

to see.

     Brandon and his family started packing for 

their cruise.   As soon as everyone was packed 

their parents made them get to bed because 

they were leaving in the morning. In the 

morning they left to go on the cruise. Once 

they arrived to the dock they saw Mickey and 

Minnie Mouse greeting everyone as they 

arrived.   We took a picture with them and 

then my dad went to check us in for the 

cruise.  

     Brandon and Emma were excited to go see 

their room.   They put their bags away and 

went to go to look around the ship.   They went 

to the main area and all of the disney 

characters were there greeting everyone.  

Emma wanted to go take pictures with all the 

Disney princesses.   Their mom took Emma to 

take pictures with them.   Brandon and his dad 

went to check out the basketball court.   After 

they were done they all went to find a place to 

eat.   Brandon and Emma wanted to eat pizza.   

   After they ate Brandon and his sister wanted 

to go check out the kid center and see what 

type of activities there was to do.   Their 

parents dropped them off and went to walk 

around the ship to see where everything was.  

After they were done they went to pickup the 

kids. They decided they wanted to go 

swimming so they returned to the room to 

change into their bathing suits.   As soon as 

they were done they headed to the pool.

      When they arrived at the pool Brandon 

and Emma decided that they wanted to go on 

the big slide.   When they got up to the top of 

the slide Emma got scared but Brandon went 

with her so she would not be scared.   After 

that she was not scared to do the slide.  

Brandon and Emma had a lot of fun together.            

They headed back to their room to get ready 

for dinner but Brandon and Emma started 

planning the rest of the activities for the trip.  

There parents decided to just order food to 

come to the room so they could relax.

    The rest of the trip Brandon and Emma got 

to do a lot of activities together and had a lot 

of fun.   They really enjoyed the cruise and 

could not believe that there was so much to do 

on the ship.   At the end of the trip they wanted 

there parents to make this a trip they did 

every summer.   Both Brandon and Emma had 

the best time and they could not wait to start 

planning for next year.
