Sadako had another big race that 

day.

If sadako wins that race, she 

makes it in her school team.

The next day at school Sadako 

tripped over and she got 

knocked out, later that day she 

found herself stuck in a 

hospital.

The nurses where doing tests on 

Sadako.

Sadako didn't like the hospital she 

was in, because it was where all 

the people died with the disease 

that came with the bomb,that 

disease was called leukemia.

After the tests the nurses came 

back with a report that Sadako 

had leukemia.Chizuko came 

into the room saying that she 

heard a legend, that if Sadako 

made a 1000 paper cranes she 

would not die.

Sadako made 254 paper 

cranes 

when she started to feel weak

and she thought she could not

make anymore.

The next week she made 

365 paper cranes but

unfortunately she died.
