Seren Taun is one of the cultural celebrations carried out by the people of Banten. This celebration has spiritual values, togetherness, and local wisdom that have been passed down from generation to generation. This paper will explain the preservation of local wisdom, the strengthening of national identity, its meaning, and the participation of the people of Banten.

Secondly, Seren Taun Banten also plays a role in strengthening the citizenship identity of the Banten people. Through this celebration, the people of Banten feel proud of their unique and distinctive cultural identity.

Seren Taun is a symbol of recognition and respect for cultural heritage, which is an integral part of Banten's identity as part of Indonesia. Feast and entertainment activities for days, featuring various arts such as buyung dances, exhibitions of local handicrafts (woven bamboo or weaving), and traditional music performances (gamelan and kliningan).

Thirdly, the Seren Taun ceremony is an expression of gratitude and prayer by the Sundanese community for the joys and sorrows they experience, especially in the field of agriculture, during the year that has passed and the year to come.
