This is for the little person who lights up my world with her bright and beautiful smile, my daughter, Luna

Once upon a time there was  a MOON 

named LUNA

Luna lived in the SOLAR SYSTEM and she circled the planet EARTH

In the SOLAR SYSTEM lived other planets. There was...

...Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, & Neptune in that order.

Luna and EARTH were together every day and every night. 

The SUN would shine so bright that it would light up the entire SOLAR SYSTEM!

 However, the SUN's

light was so bright that LUNA 

would have 

to face 

away 

from 

EARTH

during the day.

At night 

LUNA

was bright awake, 

but now

EARTH

was sleeping !

LUNA was starting to doubt her friendship with EARTH. She thought, "friends should be there to talk to each other often".

"I thought EARTH  was my friend, but her schedule is different than mine. We don't talk very often, and the SUN is too bright for me in the mornings." says LUNA.

That night COMET stopped by on his way to visit the SUN.

"Why are you so sad LUNA?" asked 

COMET

"...best friends are people you don't need to talk to every single day or week, but when you do, it will be the best time ever." says COMET.

"Well LUNA, friendship is all about patience, understanding, and making fun memories that will last forever..."

"I think I have just what you need!" says COMET as he gives LUNA  something very special.
