I dedicate this book to professor Dorsey and to my nieces and nephews.

It was daylight when Lisa woke up. The day had finally arrived. She was going to Italy with her family!

She ate pancakes for breakfast and was so excited she could barely finish them.
Her mom was in the bedroom and was almost done packing. They were soon going to head out.

On the way to the airport, Lisa saw many vehicles. She was counting all the cars that drove by her.
Once they got to the airport, they were checked through security machines.
After patiently waiting, they finally got on the airplane and fastened their seatbelts to prepare for take-off.
The trip was going to be long so Lisa decided to take a nap and relax in the airplane with her earphones on.
Once Lisa woke up from her nap, the airplane had just landed and she was thrilled.
Once they landed and got off the airplane, Lisa and her family took a taxi to their destination.

As they were in the taxi, they were enjoying the beautiful views of Italy.

They went to the Colosseum in Rome and spent the whole day there. They even stopped for icecream!
The next day it was drizzling in Venice and Lisa wore a raincoat. Once it stopped raining, Lisa and her family enjoyed a boat ride on the Gondola
