Hi! My name is Maui. My parents are named Nadine and Adrian but I call them Mom and Dad. Now there is Nico, who’s a small, sometimes stinky, version of Mom and Dad. 

We all live in a really tall house.

Today we are going to Lola and Lolo’s house because its one of those days that Dad's not on the computer all day.

Dad picks me up to put me in the car to drive to Lola and Lolo’s house. Mom sits in the back with Nico but I get to sit in the front! YAHOO!

We arrive and I feel sooo excited! When Dad opens the car door, I jump out, pee and race to the 

front door in about 5 seconds.

Mom opens the door and I hear barking. 

Zoë! YAY! I run inside while Zoë greets us. 

I bark at everyone and then sniff for food.

I find a very small piece of chicken. It's from Lola, who's cooking. I look at Maddie and Ellie who are Zoë's sisters and Nico's cousins.

They are barking in a funny language. 

I join them and Maddie gives me a gentle pat.

“Let’s eat.” Lola says. YAY! More food! Everyone puts their hands together, barking softly then gets their food. 

I bounce towards Ellie, who is licking her soup while I chew a piece of lettuce I found on the ground.

I join Zoë in the living room and start to rip open my toys. I'm sure there's a bone in there somewhere.

 “Want to play?” I bark excitedly. 

“No.” Zoë says sleepily. 

"Don't ruin your teeth for nothing. Go play with Maddie and Ellie. They use their paws to play."

Maddie and Ellie go upstairs to play with their toys. 

Lolo heads upstairs with me following right behind them.
