It was dark and 4:30 am.
I was wide awake ,
hoping that my husband or
kids would wake soon. I was
so excited about our trip.

began to get showered and
dressed for our trip.
Ronzell was so excited he
didn't even eat and just began
loading the truck.

Alana is sitting in her favorite chair after
getting dressed and is ready to go. "Mommy,
I have all my hand held games and
movies for the trip. I can't wait to be at
Disney World for Christmas."
"Okay baby girl, we about to leave in about
fifteen minutes."

we left Kentucky.
All I could think
about was how much
fun we were going to
have in Disney.

before we get there?"
We tell Christopher we won't get
there until tomorrow. "That's a
long time!"

get lunch. We came across a park
thirty minutes later and their daddy
asked, "You guys want to get out and
play at the park?"
"Yes," Alana said. "Please, please
daddy," said Christopher.

We let the kids get out the car and
play for about thirty minutes and then
we drove to a hotel in Georgia. Once
at the hotel we got out and relaxed for
the day. We went out to see some of
the sites while we were there.

and began to drive deeper into Georgia to
go visit Ronzell's God sister and her family.

The trip took a negative turn. We were driving along and "THUMP, THUMP, THUMP!" is
what we started to hear. 'Daddy what is that?", asked Alana.
"I'm not sure baby but daddy is going to find out." We pulled off the road, and we had
not one but two flats.
I have to admit I was a little upset thinking this is a problem. We are in a state we don't
know and now have to get this fixed and make it to our destination for the day. The kids
are in the back seat and keep saying, "We'll never make it to Disney now". "Am I going
to still get to ride the train at Disney asks Christopher? "How long is this gong to take asks
Alana?
"Calm down and let me take care of it says Ronzell.
He gets out the roadside assistance card form Ford and gets someone to get out to us and
fix the tire an hour and ten minutes later we were on the road again.
