Chapter 1: Parents go missing

I woke up suddenly with a gasp looking around my room. 

The curtains were flapping, the window was open and 

everything in my room was either tipped over, smashed or 

out of place. I was feeling very weak.

Finally, I had the strength to pull myself up and walk to my 

parent’s room. “Mum Dad?” I shouted sadly. I didn't   hear a 

reply, only the faint echoes of my own voice. “Mum, Dad?” I 

whispered to myself as I fell down on to the floor sighing. I 

felt like my heart sank down as low as a snakes belly. 

"Wait, I know, what about my locket" I   thought   in my 

head as I rushed to my room. 

I grabbed my locket then ran outside. “What’s this?” I 

stammered, looking at a rounded rock with a note carved 

into it saying,

"We love you –Mum and Dad".

Chapter 2: Miss Applebloom

“AHH!!!!!!!!!” I screamed as high as   the highest note on a 

piano. 

A dark black creature got closer and closer until..... “Sparky 

come here girl” shouted a wide short women with crooked 

yellow   teeth and a comforting smile. 

“Miss Applebloom!” I squeaked excitedly then quickly 

explained that my parents have disappeared and about this 

rock. 

“Hmm, stay here and wait until I call you” said Miss 

Applebloom with a reassuring look on her face.

It was about half an hour since she had gone into the creepy 

mansion. Soon I got really worried so I took one step into the 

mansion, then slowly but carefully walked up the stairs. 

'Creak creak' went the floor boards. Then a dark figure 

appeared behind me. 

"Oh, its just you. I'm so sorry. Its just i was waiting for a 

long time,"I stammered. 

 Miss Applebloom apologized for that then took me to a 

secret room upstairs and said "Did you know your 

locket opens this box?" 

" No, and whats in it?"I replied. Miss Applebloom held 

out the gold crested box and whispered "lets find out!" 

I put my locket in the hole and the box opened. I 

looked inside and realized it was a mirror but also a 

secret portal to teleport where you wanted to go. 

Miss Applebloom looked at it and said excitedly "You 

can find your parents with this!" 

I gasped then said "Ok, but will you come?" 

"It will only fit you," said Miss Applebloom with a sorry 

expression on her face.

I sighed then understood while getting ready to rescue 

my parents.

Chapter 3: Trip to London

"Take me to my Parents!" I whispered. 

I jumped into the portal and got teleported to another secret 

place. I was now standing outside the door of a very tall building. 

It looked as if it touched the moon. I quickly let myself in and 

jumped into an elevator. 

I looked at the mirror and a number appeared - number 99. I 

thought that was were my parents were so I clicked the button 

that lead up to floor 99. It went up and up as fast as a cheetah. 

Soon I got to that floor, then raced into the hallway. I hid behind 

a table and listened to three very skinny tall men talking to a 

woman and man

" If you two don't give us the portal by tomorrow, we will take 

everything you own and throw it away into some lava". 

"Was that my parents?" I gasped to myself. 

Then I hid while covering my mouth, thinking what was I to do?

Chapter 4: Crazy secret rescue mission

I waited until those men were gone then jumped out of my 

hiding spot.

"Mum, Dad is that really you?" I said. " Why are you here, 

and what portal are they talking about? Is it this 

portal....?" I questioned. 

"Alexa, is that really you and you have a portal?" 

stammered Rose (my mum). 

I told them all about my adventure and how we could get 

out of here. My parents and I quickly raced down the 

elevator to the ground floor. We stepped outside but saw 

the three men so hid on the other side of the building. 

I sighed sadly giving away where we were hidden. Quickly 

we all climbed up the nearest tree.We tried not to talk in 

case we got found.
