Chapter 1: Is this the real her?

I was alone, next to my rusty old locker. I was reading my favorite book," One Wish is all it took." I was in the last chapter when all of a sudden I saw Mia, my best friend ever. She walked up to me, in a super cute outfit with, well, matching everything! She smiled at me but with a weird smile." Hey! We are not friends anymore, you are way too poor for my liking, also you are really short. Whatever your lunch is, I wouldn't feed it to my cat." She teased." I know what your halloween costume is, trash! Get it because that's you."    

I felt tears in my eyes. Was I dreaming? She was being so mean! Just then I ran to the bathroom, shut the door behind me, and texted my friend who is now my bestie. 

Hey, Lora. You there?

yeah. Why? Are you ok?

No, Mia just dumped me.

You know that I hate Mia. Right?

Yeah. I know. I like being friends with popular people like her.

I know. Anyway, I got to go. Bye!

I turned off my phone and stuffed it in my backpack, then headed to class. I saw my mom, she was my math teacher and was super strict and sassy to kids that were mean to me.(mom on right, me on left)

Chapter 2: The big suprise

I woke up in a happy mood. Today was my birthday, and I was ready to go to Lora's house to do some games. " Honey! Come downstairs! We leave in 10 minutes!" My mom yelled. My three sisters, Spirit, Faith, and Serenity came rushing to the car with full hands. Serenity held presents along with Faith, and Spirit had the games and activities." I'm soo excited to go to Lora's house!" I yelled enthusiastically. Spirit rolled her eyes, " I can't believe that we have to do all the work for her wile she gets gifts and surprises." She muttered. 

I ignored her, she does this every single time that it is someone's birthday."Spirit, stop rolling your eyes! You are being so disrespectful to Hope." Said mom with a look that told her to stop. But I ignored both of them and looked out the car window.

I saw Lora's house! It was so big. Lora just moved from her old town that I used to live in too. " Wow! It's way bigger than I thought it would be," said Faith. "No! IT IS WAY SMALLER THAN I THOUGHT!" Yelled Spirit. Just then, Mom told everyone to get out of the car and walk the rest of the way as she clung to Spirit's new dress. So, that's what we did, we hopped out of the car and raced to the house. When we got there, Lora was standing in front of a banner that said," Happy birthday Hope!" On it and then I saw a convertible with two people inside. OMG! It was Mia and her Grandma, Ms. Tina my art teacher.   

" What are you doing here?" I asked surprised," well, you did invite me a month ago." Responded Mia." Wait, no, that was before you were mean to me!" I protested. Mom gave her and me a look." wait, Mia, what did you do to Hope!?" Asked Ms. Tina." Nothing," said Mia as she stared at me and mouthed something that I couldn't seem to understand.
