Lizzie

In New York City, there lived a girl named Lizzie, a chaotic place, with many buildings although Lizzie had gotten used to it. She was a great graphic designer and she liked it. She usually worked non-stop and didn't do other activities that she spent time on. Lizzie rarely traveled or took a break from her work. 

As a matter of routine, she went out to work every day. But one day, Lizzie saw an announcement about travelling, she stopped to watch it. After some minutes she called her best friend Jane and invite her to have a dinner at 8:00 pm o’clock after work.

Lizzie wanted to experience a new challenge and she thought that travelling could be a good choice for her, that’s why she decided to have a chat with her best friend. When they met, Jane was worried because Lizzie normally spent her time at work and they hardly spent any time together. They were glad to see each other. 

While they were waiting for the meal, Lizzie showed the advertisement about going abroad, Jane was curious about what she was about to say. Jane, unlike her best friend, was very outgoing and sociable, while Lizzie was more hardworking and introverted. At first, Lizzie was worried about what Jane would say and what she would think about her crazy idea.

She started to explain the reason why she wanted to have a conversation, Lizzie said that she decided to stop working because she thought that she was doing anything interesting. Jane was impressed and didn’t react for 10 seconds. Suddenly, she starting laughing and didn’t believe her it wasn’t a normal behavior of her. But then, she noticed that Lizzie was decided to do it.

The Plan

Jane wanted to know what made change her mind and Lizzie remembered why she was working for. Since she was a kid, had a dream and it was travelling around the world. But while she was growing up, she was so focused studying to get into to the best universities and forgot about that dream. She would like to travel but she needed to make her family proud of her and that was the most important thing at the moment. 

Lizzie asked her if she would like to travel with her so that they could spend time together. It was a crazy idea but a funny one, Jane told her that she must think about it carefully, because what will she do?

She already thought about it and had a plan. Lizzie may start her own business although she had her dream job, Lizzie wanted to do something for herself. The country she would like to travel first was Japan. So, after they had a conversation, Jane was really happy besides the different obstacles they may face and accepted going abroad.

Next day, she quit her job and started to make the most of her time, she was really nervous about the decisions she’d done but at the same time she was feeling well because she was about to achieve one her dream list.

Jane and Lizzie were really close, they met when they were studying, during college, their personalities are opposite. Jane was the type of girl that loves going out and likes to talk to people but Lizzie was the shy one who likes spending time alone but they complement and support each other. Despite their differences in personalities, they managed to maintain their friendship

Finally, after two weeks they will travel to Japan. They hadn’t any idea what to expect about the trip and didn’t know when they will come back to New York.
