I'm a watchmaker, thats for sure. But my passion is tinkering with firearms, even more!
My first successful contract was with the Navy, thats right! My .45 magazine carbine proved its might!
The Navy bought 7,500 of my rifles, in bulk! That sure didn't make me sulk!
My later model, invented in 1882, did not pass Army trials. What a bunch of hullaballoo!
While the army didn't want my rifle, the Chinese sure did! 13,000 was the number of their bid!
My rifle made me thousands of dollars, which made me happy. That only made me work harder, not take a nappy!
My rifle was used for years, incredibly! If you've ever used a Remington, it was inspired by me!
