Hey Missy, I have been wanting to learn about Elizabeth I for a while now. Is there a way you can help me with this?

Of course!! I have been friends with the Queen since we were in high school. Let us start with an introduction.
Once upon a time in England, there was a special period called absolutism when kings and queens ruled with strong power. Imagine a king or queen having control over almost everything! During this period, which lasted from the 17th to the 18th century, the english monarchy held immense authority. The rulers including Queen Elizabeth I believed in the idea of absolute power, where they made decisions without needing approval from others. In Queen Elizabeth I’s case, She followed some rules, but there was something different with her. She was known as a virgin queen meaning that she never was married or had kids. This was unusual because anyone in the monarchy is expected to have kids or be married to continue the bloodline.

First, can you tell me about the geography of England during Absolutism?
Sure! If you look at a map, England is separated from other european countries like france or spain by ocean. England is north of france and they have a big city named London.
England's Geography
England is only connected to Scotland and Ireland. They are separated from other countries by the ocean. Some countries you might know that England is separated from are France and Spain! However, when compared to other countries, many other categories were different in england.
You are right! Let us fight for our beliefs and force the government to be loose with our beliefs!
Hey, why can't we worship who we want to? I don't want to worship the Protestant religion!

Religion
Religion was very important in England. Queen Elizabeth I was in charge of the country and the religion. Most people in England followed the Protestant religion, which was led by Queen Elizabeth I. But not everyone followed this religion, and those who didn't sometimes had to be punished. Over time, England became loose with different beliefs, and people could worship like they wanted to!!! Religion in England was a very important part of the country's history! However, there are many more important parts of their history.

I despise the way our government is run! We need to march and get more rights!
You are right! Let us fight for our rights and change our political system!
Political System
Once upon a time, in England, there was a time called absolutism. This meant that a person like Queen Elizabeth I had a lot of power and made most of the cool, important decisions. Queen Elizabeth I was in charge of the country and had a lot of control over the government and the people. The people didn't have much say in how the country was run, and they had to follow the rules that the leader has for them. However, over time, people started to question the power of the march and fought for more rights. This led to changes in the political system. However, a lot of things changed in England as time went on such as the social structure

I am the Queen and I am the most powerful and get all the money!!!
I am a part of the common people and I work super hard everyday and get paid very little!!! I need my money!
Social Structure
During absolutism in England, the social structure was very different. Queen Elizabeth I was at the top, and they had the most power. Below them were the nobles, who were also important and had a lot of money and land. Then, there were the common people, who worked hard and didn't have as much power or money. The social structure was put into place where people didn't have much opportunity to change their place in society. However over time, people started to question the system and they started to fight for more equality. This led to changes and developed a more equal society. A lot of things were impacted from this like the military.

I am willing to fight for my country even if I have to die!
Let's go help Queen Elizabeth keep control over the people and protect our country from enemies!
Military
In England, the military was very important. Queen Elizabeth I was in charge of the army and had the power to make decisions about wars and battles. The soldiers in the military were very brave and loyal, and they protected the country from enemies. The military also helped Queen Elizabeth I keep control over the people and maintain order in the kingdom. But, some people didn't agree with the decision of Queen Elizabeth I, and that led to conflicts and battles. Over time, the military became organized and powerful which was the main reason why the country's history is so well known. Another reason why the country is well known is because of their trade.
