  from different countries to find out how they celebrate Christmas.

Now I'm going to ask them how they prepare for the Christmas holidays!

Още през декември всяко семейство украсява коледно дърво. Но това е по-нова традиция.

Още в стари времена за Бъдни вечер се приготвят 13 постни ястия, колкото Христос и неговите ученици. На 15 декември, Коледа, коледарите тръгват в полунощ. Те са само млади момчета. Те обичат домовете на хората и пеят песни за здраве и благополучие. Стопаните ги даряват с плодове и дребни сладки – кравайчета.

Now that I've learned about your Christmas traditions, my curiosity has grown. I'm going to leave for Portugal, more specifically for the Azores Archipelago, Terceira Island.

This time I'm going to take a look at the window of the EBI Praia da Vitória Kindergarten, I'm so CURIOUS to find out what the next tradition will be.

At Christmas, all families decorate their Christmas tree and their house and, following tradition, we also did so in our kindergarten.

Greece is steeped in fascinating holiday traditions, with its Christmas carols, or kalanda, being some of the most heartwarming seasonal customs. Every year, Greeks anxiously await Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve, and January 5, the day before the Epiphany, when children go house to house singing Greek carols, hoping to receive coins from the families they sing for.

This sweet tradition is an iconic part of the Christmas season, as children bring wishes of happiness, health, and good luck to their neighbors while they sing the traditional carols and play the triangle. The lyrics and music of the kalanta vary depending on the region, and this is evident not only in the musical instruments accompanying the carolers, but also the rhythm, the dynamics, the lyrics, and the wishes. In some regions, the musical accompaniment includes guitars, the daouli drum, harmonica, clarinet or accordion.

At the end of Christmas Carols students wish " Kala Xristougenna" which means "Merry Christmas".
