Hello, have you heard about world hunger?

Malnutrition in the world has increased since 2017, with the number of undernourished people rising from 572 million to 735 million, being highest and most persistent in sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia, a 2023 global index reveals.



The situation is particularly serious in seven countries, where a large percentage of the population will die because of hunger. 35 million children under the age of 5 are seriously malnourished.
Wars, climate change and the impacts of the pandemic. These are the main causes of the increase in hunger around the world. The numbers continue to rise and 2023 is already the worst in the last 7 years, according to the United Nations.
There are 258 million people in almost 60 countries who are struggling to feed themselves every day. The situation is particularly serious in seven countries, where a large percentage of the population will die because of hunger.

In Somalia, the nation where people are most at risk, 60% of the inhabitants are unable to eat even one meal a day. Democratic Republic of Congo, Yemen and Afghanistan complete the list of countries where lack of food is the most critical problem.
