This month's topic is verbal intelligence. Speaking is the greatest element of verbal intelligence. We aimed to improve our students' speaking skills with the debate activity. For this reason, we will have a debate in our classes on the topic "Is speaking more powerful or writing?" We will share the audio recordings and pictures from this debate on the storyjumper application. Our deadline is November 30.

Verbal intelligence is the ability to understand what someone wants to say to you and the ease of word reformulation orally.

World Greetings Day is an annual celebration that invites people around the world to reflect on gratitude and express appreciation for life's blessings.
Both writing and speaking expresses a thought, but we believe that speaking is more powerful because your emotions are transmitted; In writing, however, they are often conditioned by the reader.

feeling that it is important for our students to use verbal communication we organised a debate, where they could express themselves verbally. After the debate we created a word cloud with Word Art, consisting of the words concerning greeting. All the pros and cons are included in it.

The topic we are preparing an event for this month is verbal intelligence. Speaking and expressing oneself are very important in verbal intelligence. I aimed to improve my students' speaking skills with the debate activity I conducted in my classroom.

At the lesson Khust team learned different ways to greet people. The pupils watched a short video and studied different pictures.
They learned that friends and gronups should be greeted differently.
Greetings can be produced not only with words but with with gestures like
hug, high five, handshake,
wave, thumb up and so on

Then, the pupils played a game and trained different modes of greeting adult people and friends.
Two teams had a challenge to greet their opponents in the way that is shown on the picture they
took from the magic bag.
We had much fun!

The pupils of the 5th-B also discussed why it is so important to greet people. The main ideas are:
- greetings show respect;
- help make friends;
- we share positive mood;
- cheer up ourselves and other
people;
- show hospitality;
- make the life better;
- greetings make us good citizens.
Finally, the pupils practis ed making dialogues using different ways of greetings that are suitable in various situations.
