Short summary:
Noam is a young man when the Flood wreaks havoc on the world, destroying the peaceful lakeside village he called home, and turning his whole life upside down. Destined to live forever as an immortal, Noam travels through the centuries in search of the meaning of life, and the events which shaped who we have become today. Paradises Lost is the first installment of Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt’s monumental project of recounting the history of humanity, the fruits of more than thirty years of research. The first in a series, and in the form of a stylistic novel much like Yuval Noah Harari crossed with Alexandre Dumas. Schmitt combines his scientific, religious and philosophical research to propel readers from one world to another, and from pre-history to today.
Why do you recommend this book? - Because it it monumental book and fascinating saga full of amazing human adventures.

Title: "Harry Potter and the philosophers stone"
Author: J.K.Rowling.
It is the first volume of the 7-book-series about a boy called Harry Potter, who is a wizard.Harry attempts to the School of Witchcraft and Wizardy - Hogwart`s. He would live a peaceful and happy life, if there wasn’t Lord Voldemort - his biggest enemy, who killed his parents when he was a baby. Since then Voldemort is trying to kill Harry using his perfidious
methods. But whatever he does, Harry always finds a way to protect himself and his friends and to overcome the evil forces.Harry Potter is a great combination of humor, action and, of course, magic.
It leads us into the fascinating world of magic, where everything is possible. The breathtaking battles between good and evil are balanced by the enchanting creations of the young heroes and heroines and also the astonishing creatures or plants appearing there create an illusion of mystery. All in all, I think this book is something for both young and old. Everyone can find something that they especially like; it is really well-worth reading. I am sure that most of the readers will be drawn in by that different dimension, where everything can happen. For me Rowling`s book is a great masterpiece.

Title: The Hobbit or There And Back Again
Author: J. R. R. Tolkien
Bilbo Baggins enjoys a quiet and contented life, with no desire to travel far from the comforts of home; then one day the wizard Gandalf and a band of dwarves arrive unexpectedly and enlist his services - as a burglar - on a dangerous expedition to raid the treasure-hoard of Smaug the dragon. Bilbo's life is never to be the same again. The Hobbit became an instant success when it was first published in 1937, and more than 60 years later Tolkien's epic tale of elves, dwarves, trolls, goblins, myth, magic and adventure, with its reluctant hero Bilbo Baggins, has lost none of its appeal.

Title:Narnia
Author: C. S. Lewis
Summary: The four children from the "wardrobe" once again find themselfs in Narnia - this time quite unexpectedly and against their will - they are simply pulled by some kind of powerful magic from the bench at the railway station where they were waiting for the train. They find their former kingdom completely destroyed, the castle in ruins, everything overgrown with dense forest. They found themselves there hundreds, maybe even thousands of years later. They meet a dwarf who tells them what is going on and why they are there.
Review: This part in Narnia, it is full of fantasy, magic and even though there are fights, it is full of goodness and love.

I'm going to block it all out Just for today. "Happy Christmas," I say.
