So, on September 5th, it was D-day and Dawid hoped to make a lot of new friends and wished no one would make fun of him in his wheelchair. That's why he made himself look as handsome as possible because this first day at school meant a new chapter in his life. After some time in the car, he started looking for his class in the hallways. It was then that he accidentally stepped over the feet of the popular boy named Troy. Everyone in this school was afraid of him. He started bullying Dawid, but Rose arrived before it got any worse. As Rose helped Dawid find his classroom, she became his new friend.

But as Dawid waited in the school's reception hall, he saw a group of children where one of them also had the same mobility problem as him, while another was holding crutches. But what made a positive impression on him is that all the children were very happy, without any discrimination against any child. The boy in the group was accompanied by a female classmate who was pushing the stroller while holding a small cat at the same time.
Then, he decided to talk to the children, overcoming his initial fears.

Rose told Dawid that they were exposed to this type of behavior at school from time to time, but that he should not be upset about it.
-You are not alone Dawid...
Dawid stared with astonished eyes at his friends he had just met, and at the group of people who were chatting away. Of course, he was used to this kind of behavior. He was also subjected to such words at his old school.

Dawid and Rose walked down the hallway into the classroom. Dawid and Rose met their teacher in class. Mary, the teacher, asked Dawid why he was upset. Dawid said he was subjected to sarcasm and that it upset him.
Mary welcomed him, saying that she understood Dawid and that she shouldn't be upset about it.
Teacher Mary gathered the other students and said they were going to do an activity with them.

Teacher Mary takes all the students to a picnic. Fun competitions are held at the picnic. Dawid joins the basketball team. The opposing team is Troy and his friends. The match begins…
Troy makes fun of Dawid because he is talented at basketball. Rose tells Dawid not to worry and warns Troy for his behavior. Dawid scores his first basket, Troy gets angry and pushes him. Dawid falls from his wheelchair. Rose immediately runs to help him and informs the teacher Mary about the situation. Mary gets angry at Troy and tells him that what he did was wrong.

Teacher Mary came up with another idea to reunite the students. The game was to gather everyone in a circle and call out people with different interests. She started with food. 'Who likes Italian food?', she asked. And then was his favorite music. Students stepped into the circle and reacted happily to the same interests.
After some time, teacher Mary called out students interested in video games. Dawid and Troy walked in. They started talking about games and it turned out that they had been playing the same games for many years. Troy knew Dawid's nickname from the games and he realised that he shouldn't bully Dawid because they had a lot in common.

Troy regretted it. He decided to change. He thought he had a chance to make amends. He thought about the pleasures he and Dawid had in common.
Troy discovered a video game and decided to give it to Dawid as a gift. He would make a sincere apology later. They played the game.
The two quickly bonded, communicating throughout the game. Dawid accepted Troy's sincere apology. As communication improves, they're putting past mistakes behind them.
