The portal took me, somewhere. A place just as Enderpearl described. Hot, red, and full of lava everywhere you look. I looked next to me. Skelly was still speechless, staring at the open ocean of lava.
"Um, Skelly?"
"Yeah?"
"We can go now."
Skelly finally recovers from the shock of him in the nether. He and I go over to a nearby cliff. I try to find a way to the other side of the cliff because there was only, only what do you call it?
"Skelly, what do you call this red, squishy stuff on the floor. You studied in the class of all three dimensions, right?"
"Oh, this?" Skelly answered. "It's called Netherrack."
I walked over to a weird looking spot. Why does this place have a log block? Then suddenly, I heard a whish behind me. I can't move. I feel like I'm startled to death. If it's a player I'm so dead. Then thats when I heard.
"Sup, Gunpowder!"
"Enderpearl?" I said.
"Yup, It's me."
"Dude, I'm so lucky to run into you!"
"Um, ok?
Enderpearl looked confused.
"So Gunpowder, what are you doing in the nether? I thought that you couldn't come here. Did you figure out a teleportation ritual?"
I looked at Ender and rolled my eyes.
"Haha." I said sarcastically. "I got here because I found a portal that brought me here."
Enderpearl looked at me with shock. I looked at him too.
"Wait, so why are you here?"
"I came here because, there might be a player."
Enderpearl turned around and looked at the distant nether fortress.
"So that's why there's a cobblestone fort in that fortress."
"What did you say?"
So Enderpearl said there's a fortress east from here. And that there is a abandoned fort inside the walls. He said that he heard walking and mining so it was probably a player.
"What did the player look like?" I asked him.
"I couldn't see into the cracks through the wall so right now his face is a mystery."
