This story is based off Grimm's 

          "The Gingerbread Man".

Once upon a time, there lived an old man and woman in a country cottage. They wanted a snack, so she decided to make some gingerbread. 

She cut out the gingerbread in the shape of a man. She added a face, buttons, and nose. 

When she went to check on her gingerbread man, He jumped out of the oven door and ran out of the cottage!

"Run, Run as fast as you can. You can't catch me, I'm the Gingerbread Man!"

He outran the old couple and into the forest he went. A pig wanted to eat him. He chanted to the pig in the forest. 

"Run, Run as fast as you can. You can't catch me. I'm the Gingerbread Man!"

Just like the couple and the pig, a cow wanted to eat him. The Gingerbread Man outran the cow.

"Run, Run as fast as you can. You can't catch me. I'm the Gingerbread Man!"
