One day everyone in my grade, jumped on the 

bus.   We were going to somewhere that had a lot 

of animal!! Where do you think that is?   Yes!! 

The zoo!!   We were going their on a field trip!!   I 

was so excited to get to see all of the animals!!  

My favorite animals was the chimpanzee, the 

lions who had lion cubs, and the polar bear!! 

Come and take a little look at the zoo!!!    

Chimpanzee's

Did you know, that chimps are 

endangered? Well they are. :( Humans are 

one of their top predators.   We are not 

their only ones though.   Leopards are also 

predators, or things that kill them.  

Chimps can be between 55-110 pounds.  

Their lifespan is about 50 years not in 

captivity.   Captivity is when you are in a 

cave like at a zoo.   Most animals are 

effected by captivity. Lets keep them 

alive!   

Lion

The only predator to a lion is a human.   Lions 

are not endangered, and are not threatened.  

That is a good thing, and we do not want them 

to be ether endangered nor threatened.   Lions 

weight can be between 330-500 pounds, and 

can live 13 years in captivity.   The lions at the 

zoo, had some lion cubs.   They were so cute 

just like you!!   When I was their, they were 

playing around with a stick.   One of them was 

not doing that, and was sitting by her mom.  

the lions were so cute.   Lets keep them alive!!
