In that city, there is a street cat.Her name is Emily. She is homeless. She sleeps wherever she wants.

Lily always wanted to see the other side of the city. She never goes outside of her home.
I want to see the real world.I am not happy here, I want to be free

Emily, the street cat is also not happy with her life.Because she always wanted to have a warm room and a cosy bed.

I wish I had a home and live there forever...

On a hot summer day, Lily sees the window open. She thinks about running away.Suddenly she jumps out of the window. She walks away until she disappears from her home.
Finally, I am free! YAY!!!

Emily is looking for food. She finds food around the dustbins and she starts to eat it.
In the meantime, a dog sees Lily and starts to chase her. Lily runs away as fast as she can, because she was scared.

As Lily was running away, Emily saw her and wanted to help.

Emily was actually surprised when she saw her because Lily looked like her.

She helped Lily escape by confusing the dog. Thus, this incident led to the two cats meeting.
Lily thanked Emily for her help. Emily lived on the street and was naturally aware of the dangers outside.

My name is Lily. What's yours?
Mine is Emily too. Nice to meet you.
Emily said that's why she helped her, and they met...

After they met, they started chatting and talking about their own lives. Neither of them were happy with their lives.

?
While they are talking, an idea comes to Lily's mind:
To change roles.
After accepting this idea, Emily went to the house where Lily lived.
Lily's owner didn't realize that this was Emily. She took the little cat into the house.
Lily explains this idea to Emily, and Emily is hesitant but then accepts.
Emily was so pleased with the treat she had in the house.
Lily's owner was playing with Emily until she noticed a change in Lily's behavior.

Lily, finally free, began to run to discover the streets of the city. People who knew Emily noticed unusual behavior in that cat.

I'm sad, I want my family
Emily, on the other hand, not used to living inside a house, did not respect the rules that a cat normally respects in the family: she did not let herself be held. She looked like something had happened to her.

After a few days, Lily began to feel homesick. She also realized that she needed Emily's advices in order to survive life on the streets on her own.

Miaoooo! I need so much my home!
Emily, on the other hand, couldn't live in a house because it caused too much damage and the owners could no longer accept this.

One day Emily and Lily met and talked to each other and thought they could both live near the house and help each other.
Let's to live in my house!
Lily and Emily decided to stay close to Lily’s house. They made a cozy spot in the garden, hidden from the owner’s eyes.
During the day, Lily would explore the city, while Emily would sleep in the house. At night, Lily would tell Emily stories about her adventures outside, and Emily would share tips on how to survive on the streets.
In the meantime, Lily’s owner was worried. He tried to play with her, give her pets and the finest treats. But she just wasn’t the same. She seemed distant, bored, and sometimes even restless. She even bit her owner’s hand when he tried to pet her.
“What happened to her? Is she sick?”
He decided to take her to the vet to see if something was wrong.
The vet checked carefully the cat and said: "I see nothing unusual, your lady feels wonderful!"
The owner looked awkward. He could guess nothing.

In fact, Lily noticed the owner was driving Emily to the vet and they immediately changed the roles again.
