                      Introduction

Sea lions are amazing sea animals! Did you know that sea lions can swim up to 25 miles per- hour in the water?

                         Habitat

California sea lions live in groups of several hundred to several thousand.  They prefer to live on sandy beaches or in rocky coves.

                      Food

California sea lions eat a variety of different foods including squid, anchovies ,mackerel, rockfish,  and sardines.

                        Adaptations

California Sea Lions are well adapted to their Ocean environment. Their legs evolved into flippers and a body shape that lets efficient movement through the water.
