Once upon a time there was a man who was cleaning the streets of his banana plantation with his machete as usual

After an accident, he ended up slipping and stabbing his machete in the side of his stomach, falling to the ground and leaving him immobile. He was sure that he had just reached the end of his existence.

As he reflected on his life and his surroundings, he realized that he was dying. He realized that his death was not going to alter reality or the world he always inhabited. The sun was at exactly the same height, the shadows had not advanced even a millimeter, nothing, absolutely nothing had changed in the world.
The only thing that had changed in the past 2 minutes ago was himself.
