To Mom and Dad. Thanks for all of your help!

Meet Jacob. Jacob is from a planet similar to our very own Earth. It has all of the same characteristics, good and bad, with one major difference: it is full of magic items! Jacob's home is called planet Magica. In Magica there are magic sticks, potions and more lying around just waiting to be found. Another difference is that the people there don't seem to get hurt as easily as we do on Earth. Magica is an amazing planet. Jacob has just one problem; he's BORED!

If there is a magic stick to be found, Jacob has already found it. If there is a spell to be cast, he's already cast it. Jacob has a dream. He wants to create a planet totally different from his. One he can share, where everyone is accepted, magic still exists and the adventures are all new.
There is one item on planet Magica that can make Jacob's dream come true; the 5 Sphere. There is only one that exists, and no one has ever found it. A legend with the location has been passed on, but no one has been courageous enough to go and find it. Legend says it is heavily guarded and only the bravest dare to seek it.
Now our Jacob is brave, but is he brave enough? Brave enough or not, he's BORED! He has made up his mind. Adventure and possibly a whole new world await. Jacob is definitely going.
He packs for his journey but not like you or I would pack. Remember, he can't get hurt as easily as you and I can. So, Jacob packs a shovel, axe, pickaxe, and snacks. They are the essentials one would need for an adventure such as this on planet Magica. Jacob throws his bag on his back and heads out the door.

Not long into his journey, Jacob finds a Utility Stick. It's magic of course but it does have limitations. Jacob figures it could be a useful item, so he picks it up and goes on his way.
In the distance, Jacob can see a lake. It doesn't look too big, but he will have to cross it. Jacob can swim so he isn't worried. However, the closer he got the bigger that lake became. This thing was huge and it looked like weird things were swimming in it. No way could he swim across it, he didn't want to risk whatever those things were. And, it was far too big to walk around. He had only one choice. He was going to have to build a boat.

Luckily trees were surrounding this lake and if you remember from before, Jacob had packed an axe. So, he went and chopped down a tree. Now the only thing he had to do was build himself a boat. Impossible?! I think not! Jacob had found that Utility Stick. A Utility Stick acts sort of like a screwdriver and adhesive, you know like tape or superglue, combined. As long as Jacob shaped the wood, the Utility Stick could do the rest.

Jacob worked hard using his axe and shaped the wood into planks. He laid the planks out in the shape of a boat and with the wave of the Utility Stick, BAM, he had himself a boat and a paddle.
Across the lake he went enjoying his snacks, the view, and avoiding whatever the heck those things were in the water. The boat reached the other side. Jacob hopped off, and continued his journey.
Onward he went until he couldn't go anymore. But not because he was tired. Jacob was at the face of a cliff leading to a long, hard fall in a dark, dark valley below. Terrifying! He could see the other cliff but it was too far to jump. Jacob thought about what he could do. Shovel? No, too far to dig. Pickaxe? Too risky, he might fall. Axe? No trees. Hmm. Ahh ha! Those bushes! He could pick and twine himself together some ropes! He could make a rope bridge using the Utility Stick. Now, we aren't talking about any old rope bridge, we're talking about straight rope. Jacob got to work picking and twining.

It wasn't long before his bridge was finished. Across the valley he went. Safely on the other side, Jacob continued his journey with the thought that this was almost too easy! It was getting late, and Jacob was tired, so he found a cozy spot to sleep for the night. Tomorrow, Jacob would discover two of the biggest challenges he had yet to face.
