Deep in the jungle lives a young girl named Leah,

who has freckles all over.

She loves to explore with Jaguar, her very spotted friend.

Together they roam the jungle, on their tiny paws and feet.

One day, while lounging by a shimmering stream,

Leah spotted a small monkey hanging up above, 

"Hello there monkey!" Leah shouted towards the sky.

"Hello th- oh! Oh my!" The monkey exclaimed as he pressed his hand to his chest, 

"I must say, your freckles are just perfectly fabulous! I have never seen so many wonderful spots!"

Leah thanked the monkey and they waved each other goodbye, but she soon began to worry.

"Jaguar," she whispered, 

"Why do I have freckles? Are they any fun at all?"

Jaguar blinked once, twice, then replied with great surprise.

"Your spots make you special, just like mine!" Jaguar purred.

Leah's head hung low, "But why are we the only ones in the jungle who have them?"

Jaguar shook his head and began to laugh,

"This calls for an adventure, follow me!"

Jaguar trotted into the jungle with Leah close behind.

 Along their journey, they climbed over big rocks, pushed through prickly brush, and even swung from vines. 

Eventually, the sun began to set and Jaguar suggested that they stop by a small pond to rest their legs.

"I want to introduce you to my friends," Jaguar explained.

"Their names are Croak and Ribbit, they are so magnificent, the most talented frogs in all the pond!"

Leah looked around, but saw no frogs.

Suddenly, two emerged from the pond,

"CRRROAK!" "RIBBIT!" Said the frogs.

Leah smiled at the frogs, admiring their grand entrance.

"Hello there, friendly frogs!" Leah said with glee.

"CRRROAK!" "RIBBIT!" Replied the frogs.

Leah looked at Jaguar, she was very confused.

"They don't speak much English... but they do love freckles," explained Jaguar.

"Watch this."

Jaguar turned on his lantern, illuminating their many speckles and spots.

The frogs' eyes grew big.

Croak stood up on his hind legs, and Ribbit soon followed his lead. 

Then, to Leah's amazement, they started to sing!

"CROOOAAAAAKKKK"

"RIBBIT!"

"CROOOAAAAAKKKK"

"RIBBIT!"

Jaguar switched off his lantern, and the singing stopped.

"What happened?" Leah asked.

"Croak and Ribbit loved my freckles so much  when I met them, they began to sing! Isn't that just fabulous?" Replied Jaguar.

They said their goodbyes to the frogs and continued onward.

Through thickets and clearings, they hummed Croak and Ribbit's tune.

Leah felt much better now, her freckles made the frogs sing such a beautiful song!
