In a town not so far from you, we have a friend. His name is Billy. He has a mom and a dad and tonight they plan a special dinner.

Billy decided he is going to go to the market to buy some groceries for his family's dinner tonight.

Oh no! A stranger has just punched Billy on his way home from the super market.

This is Billy's best friend, Kevin. Billy and Kevin go to the same school together and is in the same class.

In class, Billy tells Kevin about what happened at the supermarket and wants to take revenge. Kevin was surprised.

A mean person went up and hit me!

Do not do unto others what you would not want others to do unto you.

Kevin teaches Billy to not get revenge. Kevin, who believes in Confucianism, tells Billy of the Golden Rule. "From what Confucius says, 'Do not do to others what you would not want others to do to you,'" Kevin said (National Geographic Society).

HELLO!

This is Geronimo, he is Billy's cousin that recently moved from New York City for a few days. Geronimo is currently living with Billy. Geronimo is a Buddhist.

Billy talks to Geronimo and fills him in on what has been happening. Geronimo does not agree with Billy's plan to get revenge. Geronimo asks Billy, "Right aspiration is a step for the Eightfold Path, so is revenge what you want, or is it a little distraction what leads you away from what you actually want?" (Huston Smith).

Billy went for a walk. During his walk he thought, Maybe I do not want revenge for being beat up but I am still mad.

So he now goes his parents to see if they have any advice.
