Icebreaker activity, we introduced ourselves and got to know the names of the students, then we did a thematic round about planting corn.

They are the third grade children with whom we worked on the Muisca myth called EL REGALO DEL MAIZ.

We read the myth and talked about the children's experiences. 

The Chibchas lived in a very beautiful region but at some time they had nothing to eat.

Picara and his wife decided to sell the belongings they had, to get gold and exchange it for food.

Picara went to the market and exchanged his things for gold, but  when he returned a large black bird pushed him and his gold nuggets scattered.

Picara began to collect the grains but Bochica arrived and told her to leave them. Bochica promised Picara that in  fifteen days she would have a better gift.

After fifteen days,Picara returned and found large plants, with a wrapeer on top, when she opened it she found that the gold nuggets had become food.

The older students preparing a play about the myth and the younger ones making the stage.
