Once upon a time, two boys Gavin and Logan, were spending a weekend at their cabin by the lake. Gavin, who was 10 years old, had ADHD, which made Gavin very energetic and always on the move. Logan, who was 9 years old, had bodily kineshetics, which meant he had great coordination and physical skills.
One sunny afternoon, Gavin and Logan had just gotten back from an ATV ride, and Uncle Bud suggested they go tubing on the lake that afternoon. Excited, Gavin and Logan quickly put on their swimsuits and life jackets and hopped onto the hotdog tube while being pulled behind the boat. As they flew across the water, Gavin and Logan were laughing and having a great time doing tricks and messing around.
Suddenly, Uncle Bud took a sharp turn, hitting a big wave while they were messing around. The hotdog tube flew into the air, and Gavin and Logan flew off the tube and Logan fell on top of Gavin, accidentally giving him a bloody nose. Both Gavin and Logan were frightened, but Uncle Bud quickly turned the boat around and helped them back on the boat.
As they headed back to the cabin, Gavin and Logan were frightened about what had just happened. So, Uncle Bud & everyone on the boat comforted them and explained that accidents happen sometimes, and what matters most is everything is okay now.
To make them feel better, Uncle Bud took everyone back to the cabin and Gavin and Logan got some popsicles. As they sat on the deck, Logan turned to Gavin and said, "I'm sorry about your nose. I didn't mean to land on you like that." Gavin turns and says “It's okay”
Gavin and Logan realized that stuff happens and it's all just a part of life. They learned that accidents happen sometimes, but it's all about being nice through it all because it was just an accident. Gavin and Logan headed back home after the weekend with memories from their cabin trip, knowing they had faced a tough situation together and got through it together.
