This book is dedicated to all the children 

that don't like to take pictures. 

Once upon a time, there was a photographer 

named Meghan. She was the sweetest and 

most patient photographer in the world. One 

day, a little boy named Adrian visited her 

studio for his third birthday. Adrian was in a 

bad mood. His mom had just woken him up 

from a nap.

Regardless of the glares that Meghan was 

receiving from the very grumpy toddler, she 

tried to start the photography session on a 

good notes. While attempting to give Adrian a 

high-five, Meghan caused Adrian to burst into 

tears because high-fives are terrifying. 

"Sorry buddy!" Meghan retreated off the 

background to give Adrian some space. 

"Maybe we can try singing a song?"

Meghan and Adrian's mom started to 

sing "The Itsy Bitsy Spider" in an 

attempt to get Adrian to stop crying. 

Instead, Adrian screamed louder. 

"Adrian! What noise does a doggy make?" 

Adrian's mom continues to try to cheer 

Adrian up.

"Woof! Woof!" Meghan makes an attempt 

to sound like a dog. Adrian takes a break 

from screaming to curiously look at 

Meghan. He sighs deeply. Meghan tries 

again. "Bark! Bark! Is that what a doggy 

sounds like, Adrian?"

Adrian's mom wipes the tears from Adrian's face. "See, 

this isn't so scary." She tries to get Adrian to sit on the 

bench next to the teddy bear. "Can you say 'Hi" to Miss 

Meghan's bear?"

Adrian swats the bear off the bench and glares at 

Meghan while he lets out a small protest, "no!"

"That's okay!" Meghan says as she picks up the bear. 

"We don't need him to sit on the bench with you. Can 

we play peek-a-boo instead? Meghan hides the bear 

with yet another attempt to make Adrian smile.
