I was trapped in the coal mines that day and I will escape somehow.
"Get up!", shouted the chief of this operation. "Today, everyone must work the double shift and no breaks!" shouted Chief Ronne. As I woke up, the shrilling sounds of the machines gave me a devastating welcome as a putrid scent filled the atmosphere. While eating the tasteless, moldy bread for breakfast, I felt hopeless knowing that I may never escape.

get up!
After breakfast, the chief assigned us to Room B and gave each person a pickaxe to dig. As I arrived, I noticed the depressed, hopeless faces on the children who were captured, as they continued their work quietly. I approached a girl and asked her, " Hi, what has happened to all these children and why are they sad?" She replied and said, " This school is not a normal school, the principal brainwashes children to work in the coal mines because the villagers of the town refused to do this job." In addition, she stated that if you try to escape, the principal will make sure that you will never see your parents again.

Beads of perspiration trickled down my shock-stricken face as terror consumed my entire being. " That is horrible" I said. The girl agreed.
Suddenly, two school guards, along with another prisoner, came to Room B. The school guards then pushed the prisoner into a small, dark room and locked the door. "That face looks familiar." I said to myself. Afterwards, I continued my work.

Soon, the day was finally finished and our work was done for today. As I went to sleep, I could not stop thinking about the new prisoner so I decided to investigate. I quietly tip toed out of my bed and went to Room B. As I arrived, I used a hair pin to unlock the door and what I saw made me jump for joy. It was Lily! " Caitlyn, you came to rescue me!" Lily excitedly shouted. " I have an escape plan" said Lily. Lily and I snuck out of room B and headed towards the principal's office. Apparently, Lily knew the coal mines better than me. " Once we get there, cover your nose," said Lily.
