It all started on a tedious morning when one of my friends invited me to participate in a beach clean-up for one of our local beaches. I looked outside at the radiant sun and the vibrant blue sky, knowing it was the perfect day to spend at the beach.

I accepted the offer promptly and began preparing for the day. As I ran towards the kitchen to grab my phone to call another friend and ask if they could pick me up, I suddenly heard the horn of a car.

HONK!!!

Come on, pick up!!

Arghhh!!

When I opened the door, I saw a familiar face popping out from the taxi window—it was Mia, one of my friends. I quickly locked the door and hopped into the taxi. A few minutes later, we arrived at the beach.

I stepped out, taking in the stunning view of the seaside. The two of us walked to the registration counter to sign in. We were each handed a pair of gloves and a plastic bag.

After collecting the items, I decided to walk towards the far end of the beach, which looked like a mini forest.

Surprisingly, nobody was there; everyone else was busy cleaning the front of the beach, seemingly forgetting about the other areas. I began picking up various kinds of garbage, all while listening to the waves roaring in the distance.

HELP!

WHAT!!

Everything was going smoothly until I suddenly heard a clinking sound behind me. Curious, I decided to investigate. I looked around, trying to locate the source of the sound, and to my surprise, it was coming from inside a soda can that I had just thrown into the trash.

I retrieved the can and discovered a tiny sea creature stuck inside—it was a baby sea turtle hatchling. I carefully tried to help it, and after some effort, I finally managed to free the hatchling.
