A Cat, and a Monkey were sitting by the fire, 

watching some chestnuts which their owner 

laid down to roast. The chestnuts had started to burst with the heat and the Monkey said to the Cat:

"It is obvious that your paws were made to snatch out those chestnuts. Your paws are, indeed, like our owner's hands.
