Today is Saturday. It is the sixth day of the week. Every Saturday, my sister and I pick a new dashing place to discover.

Yeah, just like our school field trips!

This Saturday, our mom says that we are visiting the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library. It is located in our nation's capital, Washington, DC.

D.C. stands for the District of Columbia. It's where the President of the United States of America lives!

Ok, let's go!

The Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library is located in a fantastic place called Chinatown.

It's a huge building that has a lot of books inside.

There's a lot more to discover, too!

I brought my camera so that I can take pictures of all of the  amazing paintings, sculptures, and exhibits that is there for everyone to enjoy!

We've arrived!

The library has six floors. Also, there is a elevator that goes all the way to the top!

On the first floor, there is a Cafe' where you can eat your breakfast or lunch, and a section for all new books that comes to the library.

Also, there is a computer section, and a section for people that want to work in small groups.

On the second floor, there are specific sections for adults that go to school, and for people with disabilities or have special needs.

Also on the second floor, there is a teen section filled with books especially for teenagers. There's a section filled with books especially for children too!

The third floor has a big meeting room. This room is where anyone can meet to discuss important things.

Remember, be very quiet.
