Well, that’s how this story begins. It all started when I traveled to Bogotá to visit my boyfriend. After a few great days together in the city, we decided to take a trip to Ibagué to visit his friend's mom’s house. It was a completely new experience for me, as I had never been there before. Little did I know, this trip would be full of unexpected twists.

The trip from Bogotá to Ibagué took around four and a half to five hours. The sun was so intense that we decided to stop in Girardot to rest and have something to drink. 

 After taking a moment to relax and recharge, we continued our journey feeling more refreshed.

We arrived in ibagué around nine at night, and it was still really hot. We were all tired, so we just wanted to rest. While we were relaxing, we started planning what to do the next day, and instead of going out, we decided to order food delivery and take it easy for the night...

The next day, We decided to leave Ibagué and head to the town of Falan, known for being a tourist spot with the famous Lost Ruins. It’s a historical site and also an eco-trail, full of activities like rappelling, exploring caves, walking across suspension bridges, and other activities .The whole experience was really exciting and definitely one of the highlights of our trip.

The only thing we didn’t like was that we hadn’t planned for how long the hike would be. It took about four hours to go down the mountain and explore the whole tourist trail, and almost five or six hours to hike back up. We hadn’t expected it to be so long, and to make it worse, there were tons of mosquitoes everywhere.

This was actually quite funny for me because I’m not used to these kinds of trips. Normally, I don’t enjoy hiking or nature plans, but I really liked this experience. It was something different for me. However, since we left the eco-park quite late, around six in the evening, we had to grab something to eat really quickly before heading back to Ibagué. But this is where the most interesting part of the story begins....
