In the town of Cairo, our journey starts...
I will begin my journey to trade for gold!

I hope I don't run out of water!

Oh no! I ran out of water!

Hello Sahara Man! Welcome to Taghaza where we have lots of salt! We need food!

Here's some food! Can I have salt in return?

To get into Ghana, I must pay tribute to their government. They are very rich because of this.

In Kumbi, I can get anything that any typical bazaar would have back home: Gold, Ivory, Ceramics, Salt, Silk, Food, etc.

The Wangara had lots of gold but no salt to keep them hydrated. I will trade salt for gold and be rich! I'll trade with them by leaving my offering and then hitting a bell to signify that they can come see what I'm offering.

We will take this salt because we need to stay hydrated. When we're done trading, we'll ring the bell so that Sahara Man can pick up the gold.
