What is a family?

A family is the people who love you and care about you. The people who help you live life to the fullest. 

My family is the nuclear family type because we have the average family, with a mom,dad, and children. We are also in the extended family type because I have aunts uncles, cousins,  and grandparents. 

My family is in the life stage of family with teens because my older sister is in between the ages of 13 and 19.

                 A family function we do is 

                          RECREATION!!

  We do this by having game nights and movie nights with a bunch of snacks. We also go to professional soccer games. \

Another thing we do for fun is we go on vacation. 

Another family function we do is love and affection. We all show one another in our family that we appreciate one another by giving the smallest of compliments when we can, and that just shows we appreciate what they did for us. 

We also do the family function of providing basic needs.

My parents have a roof over my head, they have food for me to eat, water and other drinks for me, and they have clothes for me to wear. 

Religious education is another family function we have because my parents take me to church on Sundays and they share their knowledge that they have on our religion. 

My family has the family function of education. They put me in school and make sure my grades are passing, but at least b's. 

My family uses the family function of protection. We have alarms on our house, and cameras in the front and the back yard to make sure we are safe, and we turn it on when we go to sleep.

My family also has the family function of procreation because they had children. I am one of them. :)

My family has the family function of economic support because my parents have enough money to buy me the things I need. 

Another family function that my  family has is socialization because my parents teach me how to behave and how to have manners. 

My family bonds by going to mine and my sisters soccer game and getting a treat if we score a goal.
