Mara and Myra Morgan are twins.They both had 

pretty hair and big blue eyes. Although they are twins, 

they had many differences. Mara is a nice girl and 

everyone loves to be friend of her and so as in Myra, 

but Myra is just pretending to be a good girl. In school 

Myra is very kind.and you would have thought that 

there wasn't a nicer girl in the world while Mara is 

really good, she had a good and true heart even in 

home or school.

One morning while the two are busy preparing for 

school, Myra can't find her English book and they will 

be late if she continues finding it. She's blaming 

everyone because of that.

"Why are you blaming us? You should be responsible 

with your things," said Mrs. Morgan, her mother.

Myra loves her school teacher very much and she 

knows that her teacher will be disappointed, that's why 

she thinks of a good excuse.

She took flowers and other pretty things to her teacher 

to show her affection and of course, the teacher, seeing 

only Myra in school but she didn't know what Myra 

does at home.

Myra talked to her teacher.

I'm sorry teacher, I left my English book at home, I 

already put it on the table, but I forgot it. Mara sees it 

but she didn't gave it to me.She wants you to get mad of 

me.

"I know Mara can't do that, she's a good girl," said the 

teacher.

"Why teacher do you think I'm lying?

No it's not what I mean, my dear. Okay, I'll forgive you 

this time but next time don't let your book to be left, we 

have more lessons to be discussed.

Myra was so jealous with her twin, Mara because she 

thought that her mother loves Mara more than her but 

this isn't true. 

Every time Myra sees Mara, she get mad at her because 

she feels that they always had to share in all things. 

Mara knows what Myra's doing but she chose to keep 

quiet to avoid fighting with her twin.

      Saturday afternoon, Mrs.Morgan asked Myra 

to go around the store and buy some groceries.

"No, I don't want to, Can't you see I'm busy, why 

don't you asked Mara?"

"Oh yeah, you're busy watching TV, what a nice 

work?Mara is in her room reviewing her lessons, 

you what are you doing? You must learn to respect 

everyone especially me because I'm your mother."

"Okay fine, she get the list of groceries and went 

into the store.

       While she was gone, a visitor came to see Mrs. 

Morgan to plan for the next parent-teachers' 

meeting and was invited to stay for dinner.

Mara went into the living room and saw the

visitor,it was teacher Wendy.

" Oh! teacher, it's nice to see you, what are you doing 

here?,"asked Mara. 

"I came here to see you're mom, so that we can plan for the 

next parent- teachers' meeting.                       

"I hope you're okay here teacher, do you need some drinks?," 

asked Mara.

"No thanks I'm fine," the teacher answered.

"Just make yourself at home here teacher, I just have to do 

something in my room, just wait my mom." Mara is on her 

way to her room but she saw her mom working alone in the 

kitchen and seems very tired. "Mom,do you need some help?," 

asked Mara. It's okay my dear, I know you had more 

important things to do just finish you're work and had a 

review in you're room. "But mom it seems that you're very 

tired."

       Mara helped her mom in cooking. She sliced and washed 

all the ingredients needed. Thank you for helping Mara just go 

to your room and finish your work. I can handle this. Mara 

leave the kitchen and she forgot to close the door. In a few 

minutes Myra came into the kitchen with the heavy groceries, 

she use the back door as she entered. "Here are the groceries, 

throwing them on down the floor."Now I can already watch 

TV."

"Wait instead of watching TV will you please help me 

here?Will you please set the table?," asked her mom.

"I don't want to,I hate setting the table."

"But you don't have other important things to do. Please set the 

table for dinner."

She set the table but with many grumbling and she 

almost frightens everyone in slamming the cabinet door.

Because the living room door was open, the teacher 

heard what was happening.

Her mother looked displeased but did not say anything 

until Myra was about to go. "Myra set an extra place at 

the table, we are having a visitor for dinner tonight, 

she's in the living room.

Myra looked around and noticed that the living room 

door was open.
