The Philadelphia Phillies are a team in Major League Baseball. A historic franchise, the Phillies have won the coveted World Series only twice: in 1980 and 2008.
In recent years, the team has had more success, making the playoffs in 2022, 2023, and this past 2024 season. They also won their first National League East division pennant in 13 years in 2024.

There are many factors that contribute to a winning team. One of the more important factors is that there is a strong team camaraderie.
This story will elaborate on the Phillies players from 2019 to the most recent 2024 roster. How these players impacted each other and the success of their game on the field.
In the offseason prior to the 2019 season, the Phillies made a big signing of All-Star Outfielder and MVP, Bryce Harper. Harper was a coveted free agent the entire offseason.
During this offseason, the Phillies also acquired two other notable All Stars: infielder Jean Segura and catcher J.T. Realmuto.

Alongside these new additions, veteran Phillies' Rhys Hoskins and Aaron Nola were ready to start competing for a trophy.
However, the 2019 season ended in disappointment. The Phillies finished 81-81 (.500).
In 2020, the shortened season was no better, with the final record being 28-32.
Onto bigger and better in 2021..
2021 was a promising year for the Phillies, but they fell short of the playoffs at 82-80.
There was good that came out of this season: third basemen Alec Bohm, who was a promising young player the Phillies drafted 3rd overall in 2018.
This began a team camaraderie that was unique to the Phillies, and would serve them well across the next few seasons.
The real fun begins in 2022. The Phillies' almost-magical season.
With acquisitions such as Brandon Marsh, sluggers Kyle Schwarber and Nick Castellanos, the Phillies' bats were ALIVE!
Finishing the season at 87-75, the Phillies made the playoffs for the first time in 11 years!
The secret behind the Phillies sudden success? The Daycare!
The Daycare is a nickname given to the young players on the Phillies roster, especially Brandon Marsh, Bryson Stott, and Alec Bohm.
Their childlike wonder for the game brought a breath of fresh air to the clubhouse, reminding so many players and staff why they loved the game of baseball to begin with.
