Once upon a sunny Sunday, Kenzie and her mom decided to visit the zoo. Kenzie was bursting with excitement!

"Mom, there are so many animals! Can we take home an animal we see today?" Kenzie said with a sparkle in her eye.

"That would be a big adventure! But let's think about it first." her mom replied.

The first stop at the zoo was the lion exhibit. The great lions lounged under the sun and roared from their rock with shimmering manes. 

"Look at them, Mom! Can we bring a lion home?" Kenzie exclaimed. "I can feed him steak and give him a nice big bed!"

Her mom replied "Kenzie, lions are wild animals. They need lots of space to roam and special care. Plus, they roar very loudly! Would you want to hear that every night?"

Kenzie sighed, "Okay, Mayble not the lion."

Next, they strolled to the zebra enclosure.

"Look at their stripes! Can we take a zebra home? I'll paint my room to match!" Kenzie screamed not holding back any excitement. 

Her mom replied, "Zebras live in herds and need a lot of space to run around. Plus, they eat special grass we can't grow in our backyard."

Kenzie agreed, "You're right, Mom. Zebras need to play with their friends."

Then Kenzie and her mom spotted the tigers lounging in the sun. 

"What about a tiger, Mom? They're so beautiful! I would definitely take care of him! Kenzie explained. 

Her mom shook her head when she said, "Tigers are territorial animals and wouldn't enjoy to share the bed. They need care only professionals can provide."

Kenzie frowned, "That makes sense. I guess I can't cuddle with a tiger."

As they strolled further, they spotted the kangaroos hopping, their little joeys peeking out from their pouches. 

"Look at them bounce! Can we take a kangaroo? I could take it to the park and on my trampoline" Kenzie giggled.
