Wind energy is the process of turning wind to energy by using the wind to turn the blades to make power.

When blades move by the wind it causes the gearbox inside to move, the gearbox  then turns the generator, which is how the energy is made.

Why renewable resources are great 

Renewable resources are useful because you can't run out of them, while oil, and other nonrenewable resources, are limited.

Biomass fuel vs wind energy 

While biomass energy is more consistent and reliable, it has a cheaper upfront cost. In contrast, wind energy is cheaper, plentiful/a lot of, and with low operating costs. Although it is noisy, and location-dependent.
