The Capital of Taiwan is Taipei
The capital of Taiwan is most famous for its buildings and scenes. The most notable building is its world trade center (Taipei 101) having a stunning view, one of the worlds fastest elevators and having a masterful architect.
The idea of the ball inside of the building was to prevent swaying of the building through a pendulum motion.

The origins of bubble tea
The idea of bubble tea was created in Taiwan and many Bubble tea businessmen have originated there. Some places that have originated from Taiwan are Gong Cha and Kokee Tea.

National Dish
The national dish of Taiwan is a humble beef noodle soup. Taiwanese beef noodle soup first surfaced after 1949 when the Kuomintang party lost the Chinese Civil War and retreated to Taiwan. It was said that the oxen warned the many farmers of earth quakes and saved their lives many times.
Although it was cruel to eat the animal that saved your life it was said if you did so the animal (oxen) would take revenge on you in your dreams.

National Sport
Taiwan's national sport is baseball. Baseball's rise in popularity was due to a game in July of 1968 when a juvenile team defeated the visiting champion Japanese team 7-0 which caused the sport's popularity to skyrocket eventually becoming Taiwan's national sport

The geography of Taiwan
A large portion of the island is covered in a mountainous terrain and limits the growth of its people. Although many people live on the island, most of the available land is taken up by agriculture. Despite being only slightly larger than Belgium it has almost twice the population.

The government system in Taiwan
The type of government system Taiwan uses is a multi party democracy. There are two major parties, the Kuomintang (KMT) and the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP). The KMT holds a majority of 81 followed by the DPP with 27 seats in the 113-seat Legislative Yuan (LY), with the remaining seats held by independents and small parties.

In the 1990s, Taiwan transitioned from an authoritarian system to liberal democracy, and began to examine how President Chiang Kai-shek had violated human rights during the martial law era.
Countries Taiwan used to be claimed by
Taiwan originally was a part of china but later in 1895 Taiwan was taken in as an annexed territory of the Empire of Japan. Later rejoining being part of china but functioning as a separate nation.

Places to visit
One place I would recommend you to visit is the sun moon lake. It has an amazing view and many areas for you to see the lake from. The lake itself is stunning with an island in the middle for you to possibly visit.

Hǎinán Shěng

Fun fact
Hǎinán Shěng translated means "south of the sea". This is due to its location compared to the rest of china.
Dialect
The dialect that is widely spoken is both Cantonese and Mandarin.
City capital
Haikou is the city capital of Hiana Sheng. You can visit the city a long the southern coast.

compared to other provinces in china Hǎinán Shěng is the southern most province. The Hǎinán Shěng district is an island similar to Taiwan.

History of Hǎinán Shěng
Hǎinán Shěng was incorporated into the Chinese empire in 110 BCE. This is also when the Han government established two prefectures. However the indigenous Li people staged constant rebellions, this resulted in the Chinese withdrawing in the first century of BCE.

Population
The population of Hǎinán Shěng is about 10.08 million people in 2020.

As previously mentioned, Hǎinán Shěng is the southern most part of china but is also the smallest providence in terms of land area.
