One bright morning, Lily and her little brother Ben could hardly wait.

“We’re going to the zoo today!” Lily cheered, jumping up and down.

"Let’s go see the animals!" 

Their mom smiled and said,

At the zoo, Lily and Ben can no longer hide their excitement meeting the different animals.

"To see the lions!" Ben shouted.

“Where should we go first?” Lily asked.

WELCOME TO THE ZOO!

“Look at his fluffy mane!” Lily said.

They hurried to the lion’s den. A big lion was lying in the sun.

 ROAR!!!

Ben jumped, then laughed. “That was so loud!”

Next, they went to see the giraffes.

"Wow! Look how tall they are!"  Ben said.

“They’re taller than our house!” Lily giggled.

The giraffes stretched their long necks to munch leaves from the trees.

Then, they walked to the monkey enclosure.

The monkeys were swinging and flipping on the branches.

“They’re so funny!” Lily laughed.
