It was a beautiful summer morning on the Island of Sodor. The sun was shining brightly, birds chirped happily, and the scent of fresh flowers filled the air. Thomas, the blue tank engine, was chugging along the tracks with a big smile on his face. He had been given a very special job today—he was tasked with helping set up for the annual Sodor Carnival!
"I can’t wait to see all the fun!" Thomas said cheerfully to himself, his wheels clicking along the tracks. "There will be games, rides, and so many wonderful things to see. I hope everything is ready by the time the carnival starts!"
As Thomas made his way to Knapford Station, he spotted his friend Percy, the little green engine, puffing happily in the distance. Percy’s cheerful whistle rang through the air.
“Hi, Percy!” Thomas called out. “Are you excited for the carnival?”
“Of course, Thomas!” Percy replied with a grin. “I’m delivering some decorations and supplies to the carnival grounds right now. It’s going to be the best one ever!”
Just then, a tiny, eager voice interrupted them.
“Hi, Thomas! Hi, Percy!” It was Hamtaro, the little orange hamster, bounding along the tracks with excitement. He was hopping around, his tiny paws bouncing as he ran alongside the two engines.
“Hamtaro!” Thomas called. “What are you up to today?”
“I’m going to the carnival to help set up! I can’t wait to see all the balloons and candy!” Hamtaro exclaimed, spinning around in circles.
“That’s the spirit, Hamtaro!” Percy said with a laugh. “We could always use a little extra help. Are you ready to lend a hand?”
“Absolutely!” Hamtaro said, puffing his chest proudly. “Let’s make it the best carnival ever!”
As they continued to the carnival grounds, they were joined by another friend. From behind a row of flowers, Bijou, the elegant hamster with white fur and blue ribbons, appeared. She gracefully trotted up to them, smiling.
“Bonjour, everyone!” Bijou greeted. “I’m so happy to be a part of the carnival preparations. I’ve heard there will be a grand parade!”
“You’re right, Bijou!” Thomas said. “And I’m sure with all of our help, it’ll be the best one Sodor has ever seen!”
“I shall do everything I can to help,” Bijou said, her blue ribbons fluttering in the breeze.
When they all arrived at the carnival grounds, they were greeted by Sir Topham Hatt, who was overseeing the preparations.
“Well, well, Thomas! I see you’ve brought some friends with you. Good! We’ll need all the help we can get to get everything ready in time,” Sir Topham Hatt said with a smile. “There’s a lot to do: setting up the tents, arranging the food stalls, and getting the rides working. It’s going to be a busy day.”
“I’m ready to help, Sir!” Thomas said proudly.
“Me too!” Percy added, puffing excitedly.
“I’m here to help with anything you need!” Hamtaro chirped.
“We’re all ready!” Bijou said, adjusting her blue ribbons.
“Well, then,” Sir Topham Hatt said with a nod. “Let’s get started! But remember, we must all work together to make this carnival a success. It’s important to stay organized and be careful. We don’t want anything going wrong.”
Hours passed, and the carnival was starting to take shape. The Ferris wheel was in place, the booths were set up, and the smell of fresh popcorn and cotton candy filled the air. Everything was coming together perfectly.
But then, disaster struck!
As the sun began to set, a sudden gust of wind blew through the carnival grounds. It knocked over one of the large tents, sending it flapping wildly through the air. The tent got caught on a nearby tree, and the decorations scattered everywhere!
“Oh no!” Thomas cried. “The tent’s been knocked over!”
“I’ll go get it!” Percy said, rushing over to help.
“I’ll help too!” Hamtaro exclaimed, running after Percy. “We’ll fix it in no time!”
Bijou, seeing the mess, quickly called out, “Don’t worry, I’ll help pick up the decorations!”
