Once upon a time, I think it was tomorrow, there was a cute,
petite kingdom resting on a towering mountain. It was
surrounded by dozens of clouds! Because of this, it was named
"The Kingdom of Clouds". Below the city, you would see
intriguing, glimmering rock, which made up the mountain of which
the kingdom was sitting on.

The land was so serene, that
everyone was happy! Everyone
except Guinevere, that is.
Guinevere was the royal
princess of The Kingdom of
Clouds. She was the most
beautiful for miles around!
Every knight, prince, and king
wanted her hand in marriage.
Most people thought that she
lived the life of paradise.
However, she had a problem -
a problem which she believed
in her kingdom could never be
solved.

You see, Guinevere Patrilla
- princess of The Kingdom
of Clouds was (it's
true)...bored! Of all people
it was the girl with the
dream life. She had
servants fanning and
feeding her at command.
She had the fluffiest, most
comfortable sleeping
chambers. It was all hers,
yet she thought of her life
as melancholy and bleak.

One day, as she was
sitting on her feather-
like bed, thinking
about how bored she
was, a quite devious
idea popped into her
brain! Guinevere
smiled a mischievous
smile and ran
(gracefully) to her
desk and started to
contrive.

The following
morning, Princess
Guinevere skipped up
the stairs leading to
the roof of the castle.

When she arrived, she drew in a massive breath and screamed at the top of her angelic voice,
"Barbarians! Barbarians are coming! Save your families and hide!" Now before we move on, I
must inform you of two things: 1. Barbarians were stinky, uncivilized people, who didn't take
baths, ate their meat raw, and raided cities for money and land. 2. There were not really
Barbarians coming. Guinevere thought this to be extremely hilarious and stood there
slapping her knee as the townsfolk scrambled for safety. When they finally realized it was a
joke, they slowly trudged back to there homes, feeling embarrassed.

The next day, Guinevere
repeated the sneaky scheme and
had another whole barrel of
laughs. The following morning,
she decided not to continue her
cycle, for her throat was quite
sore from yelling so loudly the
days before. As she was
lounging in her bedroom, she
saw a flash shine through her
window. She cautiously walked
toward her window and gasped!
Barbarians were charging up the
rocky mountain path leading
toward her kingdom!

She hastily ran up the castle steps, knowing they would imminently bust into the city. When
she reached the top, she drew in the most gigantic breath she could and shouted, "Barbarians
are coming! Barbarians are coming! Save your families and hide!" she pleaded. The villagers
just rolled their eyes, scowled and continued about their business. Suddenly, she heard
pounding on the city gates, then a huge thud shook the mountain. The gates were down.
Warriors flooded the streets. When Guinevere heard them coming up the stairs, she fainted.

When she awoke, she found herself in a horse-pulled wagon racing back to
Barbarian Country. As Princess Guinevere sat there hunched up against the
wagon's rickety, wooden side, she burst into tears. "If only I hadn't tricked the
villagers!" she cried, "After all, they are my people and I am their princess, and
yet because of me, half of my country are now becoming slaves in the most
uncivilized place on earth! And on top of that, they captured me too!".

Suddenly, she heard a faint whisper. Guinevere looked around and saw a face
peering in the window at her. "Princess Guinevere!" the voice whispered again, a
little louder this time. She looked up and realized it was Timothy, one of her
servants of whom she was quite fond of. Timothy Martin hoisted himself through
the window, pulled out a knife from his trouser pocket, and cut the princess loose
from the ropes she was tied in. "Follow me?" Timothy asked respectfully.
Guinevere was too stunned to speak, so she just nodded and silently followed.
