Trump also made a cameo in Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (1992), where he briefly gives directions to the character Kevin McCallister at the Plaza Hotel, which he owned at the time.



Political career
Donald Trump’s political career began in 2015 when he announced his run for president as a Republican. He won the 2016 election, defeating Hillary Clinton, and became the 45th president of the United States. His presidency (2017-2021) was marked by controversial policies on immigration, tax cuts, deregulation, and an "America First" approach to foreign policy. Trump was impeached twice—first in 2019 over his dealings with Ukraine and again in 2021 after the Capitol riot—but was acquitted both times.
