Text: Feur Teodora
Voiceover: Chifa Luca Adrian

Emma could not believe what she saw in front of her…
Finally, after what felt like a lifetime of endless scouting, the magnificent Red-fronted macaw was delicately stretching on a fragile tree branch about two steps away from the dedicated photographer. As she regained her composure, the girl knew this was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. It would be a disaster, no, an absolute catastrophe, if she made a wrong move that might disturb the scene unfolding in front of her.
With the wit and precision of a photographer worthy of her name, she raised her camera, ready to capture her winning shot. She took a faint step forward to capture the best angle of the creature, but as she positioned her foot, she stepped on a twig. The sound was minimal, but it was enough to cause the bird to flee from the scene.
Without hesitation, the girl dashed after the macaw. The bird’s movements were swift and agile, and although Emma tried her best, it was to no avail. She lost her chance of having her picture displayed in the national museum. Overcome with bitterness, the girl threw her camera to the ground and began sulking in her thoughts.
