It was a sunny morning.

Emma and Jack were very happy.

Today, they were going to the zoo with their parents.

It was a big zoo, and they had never been there before.

They were so excited to see the animals.

They got in the car and drove to the zoo.

The car ride was long, but it was fun.

Emma said, "I can’t wait to see the lions!"

When they arrived, they went to the lion area first.

The lions were big and strong.

One  lion was sleeping under a tree.

It was hot, and the lion was resting in the shade.

Another lion was walking slowly.

It had a big mane.

A baby lion was playing with its mom.

Emma said, "The lions were sleeping, but they are so strong!"

Next, they walked to the monkey cage.

The monkeys were jumping and swinging from the trees.

Some monkeys were eating bananas.

One monkey was very funny.

It made a funny face and everyone laughed.

A baby monkey was sitting on its mom’s lap.

Jack said, "The monkeys are so silly!"

Emma said, "I love the baby monkey!"
