In Madrid we can say we have got a lot of fountains, however,  people use a lot of plastic (by using plastic bottles). We should drink in reusable water bottles to reduce the plastic use. We can then refill them with fountain water. Another problem is that in Madrid most of the fountains don't work or are very dirty, especially in the center of Madrid.

in villaviciosa there are only 10 public fountains and only few of them work; and that´s why a lot of people consume water of plastic bottles.

And plastic bottles are very bad for the environment, so building more fountains would help reduce plastic and improve the environment.
