Chapter 1: The Vanishing Pencil

Liam loved school, especially writing stories. But one morning, something strange happened. He placed his favorite yellow pencil on his desk, but when he turned around—it was gone!

"Where did it go?" he wondered. He searched his backpack, under his chair, even inside his lunchbox, but the pencil was nowhere to be found.

 Chapter 2: The Clues             Appear

Liam decided to be a detective. He looked around the classroom and spotted a tiny trail of pencil shavings leading to the bookshelf. He followed them carefully, feeling like a real investigator.

His best friend, Mia, joined him. "Maybe someone borrowed it," she suggested.

Then, their classmate Jake walked by, looking nervous. He was holding something behind his back.
