Tyler and Sarha wanted to go to the tundra and study the plants and animals like the Arctic willow. “Now kids you cannot go alone, you should go with an adult,” Dad said.
“ What about Samantha?” Sarha asked.
“I don’t know just promise if you guys go you will come back alive,” Dad said.
The three set out a date to leave and waited.
“I have been waiting for an eternity,” Tyler said. “Did you know that polar bears live up to 20–30 years?”
“Stop being dramatic, you have only waited two days, and we leave tomorrow. Have you even packed up yet?” Samantha snapped.
Then the next day they left.
They arrived in the tundra and explored a bit then they saw something that was unimaginable.
“Oh my god, that mama wolf left one of her babies!” Sarha cried.
“What do we do?” Tyler asked.
“I say let's wait for two minutes and if the mother doesn’t come back we'll take it with us and try to get it back to its mother,” Samantha planned.
“You know baby wolves can run up to 28 mph,” Tyler said.
“Ok it has been forever let's take it,” Sarha complained.
“You will be safe now little dude,” Tyler said.
When they picked the baby wolf up they saw a polar bear coming.
“AHHHHH!” Screamed Tyler.
“Wow you scream like a baby,” Samantha said. “Ok, but we have to stay still and make loud noises to scare it off like Tyler did.”
“Samantha, it is getting closer,” Sarha cried.
“Ok RUN,” Tyler exclaimed.
“Tyler!” Sarha said. “We can not outrun that thing!”
“Let's jump into the water and swim,” Tyler said.
“And freeze to death? I don't think so,” Samantha reasoned.
“Yeah and plus polar bears can swim for several hours,” Sarha said.
“Let's keep running I guess,” Tyler said.
They were so tired of running that they thought animals were talking to them.
